I am Noluthando Ndlovu and I identify as a woman. I’m currently working in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal as a Researcher for a non-profit organisation called Health Systems Trust (HST) that specialises in public health research and health systems strengthening. I predominantly work on research and information dissemination projects, with a specific focus in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as my background is in Environmental Science. My current research interest is addressing food systems and environments in relation to non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and my hope is to strengthen my ability to advocate for issues related to this while continuing to work in the public health sector.
I hope to get my PhD in public health in the near future and be in a position to influence health policies and advocate for issues related to health inequity.
