About Tekano
Tekano is a South African non-profit organisation committed to building a more equitable society. We invite qualified auditing firms to submit proposals for the provision of external audit services for a three-year term.
Scope of Work
The appointed auditor will be responsible for:
- Delivering external audit services in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- Preparing Annual Financial Statements (if applicable) in accordance with IFRS for SMEs and the Companies Act of South Africa, and it should be completed by an independent department within the organisation.
- Providing taxation services, including preparation and submission of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
Submission Requirements
Interested firms must include:
- Company profile and relevant experience.
- Three traceable references.
- Detailed proposal covering scope of services, cost structure, quality assurance, risk mitigation approach, partner involvement (if any), and any other supporting information.
- Copies of company registration, professional certifications, and (if applicable) certificate of good standing.
- Compliance documents, including: BBBEE certificate, VAT registration, CIPC documents, and Directors’ IDs.
