Nangamso Koza is an Education Development Strategist and independent consultant based in Komani in the Eastern Cape. Nangamso is currently working on programmes set to position schools as information and capacity building intuitions on health policies. She is also working to ensure that schools have strategies that can be developed and implemented to ensure that community stakeholders know their rights and are able to engage each other on programmes aimed at healthy meals for learners.
The issue of land is central to Nangamso’s activism. She believes that the freedom of previously disenfranchised South African’s is rooted in getting access to land. “In the different spaces I operate in; arts, education and agriculture, I am always ensure to address the root of our problems – umhlaba,” she explains.
