Is a Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) practitioner based in Duncan Village, Eastern Cape, South Africa. With several years of experience in community-based advocacy, education, and facilitation, her work sits at the intersection of social justice, disability inclusion, and women’s empowerment. Her expertise includes GBV prevention, SRHR education, community mobilisation, and inclusive approaches to health education for people with disabilities, particularly those often excluded from conversations on sexuality, bodily autonomy, and protection. She holds an Educare qualification from Buffalo City TVET College, where she developed a strong foundation in care work, early childhood development, and education. Her work is deeply informed by lived experience, having attended a special needs school and witnessed firsthand the stigma, marginalisation, and high rates of teenage pregnancy among learners with disabilities. This experience continues to shape her commitment to advocacy and inclusive education.
