Mmabatho Langa

Mmabatho Langa is a physiotherapist specialising in rural health in Limpopo province. Mmabatho works as part of a multidisciplinary organisation that provides rehabilitation services to rural communities by providing community outreach services to individuals who are unable to access care in hospitals. Mmabatho advocates for healthcare services for rural people living with disabilities and for rural physiotherapists by amplifying their voices.

Her dream is to see South Africa heal from past injustices and for everyone to have access to equal and quality health care regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds. “Being a part of the fellowship will allow me to engage and collaborate with other fellows in order to bring about meaningful social change,” she says.
