Ntsika Dapo

Ntsika Dapo, an activist and community organiser based in Gqeberha, holds degrees in Sociology and Philosophy. His political awakening began in 2012 when he joined the Rural People’s Organisation, engaging in campaigns and political education. Ntsika is affiliated with the Inyanda Rural Land Movement and has participated in international programs, including visits to the Landless People’s Movement in Brazil and the African Institute for Agrarian Studies in Zimbabwe. These experiences were crucial in shaping his political development. During this time, he also volunteered for Ntinga Ntaba Kandoda, working on projects related to rural democracy and development. After teaching philosophy for two years, Ntsika now works as a programme practitioner at Pathways. His dedication to addressing structural issues, such as land spatiality and fiscal policies, reflects his commitment to social justice. He envisions a mass democratic movement that addresses both immediate demands and long-term goals, with a focus on linking health movements with workers and unemployed movements.
